New Cover of Kelly Killoren Bensimon
Supermodels Unlimited Magazine, Cover, Travel Edition/August 2010.
Back in November, I had the opportunity to photograph the AMAZING Kelly Killoren Bensimon. Reality TV star, author, jewelry designer, model, Playboy Cover Model, magazine editor…. Talk about pre-shoot jitters, not only has she been a model since she was seventeen, but she also was married to one of my favorite photographers ever, French Fashion Photographer Gilles Bensimon. She was one of the sweetest models I’ve ever worked with and it seemed like every shot could have been a keeper. Kelly has appeared on the Real Housewives of New York City (on Bravo) and let me tell you Kelly is one sexy, housewife of New York!
This shoot came in last minute, but we found a great hotel in Midtown through one of our PR contacts at DKC NY. The Grace Hotel is a little gem in Manhattan that was once an office building, but is now a hotel with quite a bit of charm. Though their pool area is small, it was built beautifully – you almost feel like you’re in Aspen. Luckily, we planned on shooting inside in the near sauna temperatures, as it was one of the coldest days of winter.
All of the jewelry from the shoot was from Kelly’s line.
