Miss America’s Outstanding Teen & Kim Parrish.
Last year, I had the opportunity to photograph Miss America’s Outstanding Teen 2009, Taylor Hanna Fitch for Supermodels Unlimited Magazine. MAOT is a great organization bringing the Miss America Organization‘s mission to teens, according to their website, “to encourage positive achievement by helping to nurture and build the scholastic achievement, creative accomplishment, healthy living and community involvement of our nation’s youth.” Not the typical “beauty pageant”, Miss America’s Outstanding Teen has set out “to encourage and reward the talent, communication skills, community service, and academic achievement of girls between 13 and 17 years of age.”
I also had the opportunity to photograph Kim Parrish, MAOT’s president. Ms. Parrish is also a host on HSN and has her own line of affordable clothing for women, The Kim Parrish Collection.
Together with my video production team, we filmed a little “behind the scenes” interview with both Kim and Taylor. Here are both of them:
