Jasz Couture is a small company with an outstanding line of sexy prom dresses. Since seeing their line at last year’s Apparel Market, I knew I had to work with them to help bring their marketing efforts in line with “the big boys”. I have been working with Jasz’s rep, Pam Nierenberg since Atlanta market to try to come to agreement on budget and concept for moving Jasz forward. A note on Pam, she really is a creative genius and is one of the most sought after reps in the business: she has worked with the biggest in the evening wear and special occasions market and the smallest, helping them grow leaps and bounds.

On Tuesday, we finally saw the first part of the last year of work come together. We shot a 6 image (8 page) fold out direct mail piece that will be mailed to a couple thousand buyers before the Atlanta, Chicago and Las Vegas markets (all of which Jasz has a presence). Additionally, some of the images will be used in their showrooms at the markets.

I brought on some of my usual production team:
Makeup: Charlotte Bentley from NYC
Hair: Linh Nguyen from Washington D.C.
Assistant: Jade from Washington D.C.

Pam styled the shoot. Additionally, Pam had one of Jasz’s biggest accounts on hand to offer suggestions and guidance. We also hired a wonderful female model, Kimberly from Bloom Models in NYC, and a male model, Chase from Choice Models in NYC.

After the piece mails, I will post it here on the blog. I will also update this post with some outtakes from the shoot by the end of next week.

I will be shooting their catalog & advertising later in early August.
